This affordable stainless steel cat-back gained popularity on the 1993-1997 LT1 F-bodies for great power and sound.  The same holds true for the 1998+ LS1's.

Some kits were made even quieter using a "Cone of Silence" in the muffler's inlet.  This is basically a plate that reduces the diameter of the pipe to about 1/2" and looks something like the picture to the right.
